1:1 Literacy Tutoring for ages 5-12
We took the research on high impact tutoring and the science of reading and combined it with what we know about how kids learn to build our 1:1 high impact tutoring curriculum.
Engaging, Research Based Instruction
Our lessons, rooted in the Science of Reading, have been designed maximize engagement and learning for a wide-range of students, including English Learners. Older struggling readers will find that our lessons have been designed with them in mind. We use the same scope and sequence as UFLI Foundations, allowing for coherence between Tier I instruction and Tutoring.
All of our tutors have been classroom teachers - in fact, our tutors have an average of 15 years teaching experience! Our hiring process is extremely rigorous, with just 1 of 20 applicants being hired. Tutors also complete a competency-based training that is designed around our curriculum, in addition to participating in ongoing instructional coaching. Want to use our curriculum and support?
